For over 30 years, Dr. Susan Davenport has walked alongside individuals and families as they navigate complex emotional and psychological challenges. She has completed more than 15,000 psychological evaluations and has supported adults, parents, and children facing concerns such as ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, anxiety, depression, and stress-related difficulties.

Personal Journey & Interests
Outside of her professional work, Dr. Davenport enjoys traveling and exploring the world. Alongside her two sons, she has shared unforgettable experiences across Europe, Greece, Egypt, Peru, the Galápagos Islands, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Ecuador, Cancun, the Caribbean, Australia, Fiji, Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, and 38 of the 50 United States. Their travels have included cruise ships, planes, trains, hot air balloons, and small aircraft. They have also completed four transatlantic cruise crossings.

She is passionate about photography and decorates her home and office with her own photos. She has created an English garden in her backyard and has been a scuba diver for 25 years. She has also experienced skydiving, which she found exhilarating.
Music is an important part of her life. She played the flute in high school, continues to play the piano, and recently began learning the guitar after her youngest son left for college. She also enjoys dancing and collects dolphins, glass art, and Wedgwood.

Dr. Davenport understands trauma on a personal level. In 2023, after being widowed for fourteen years, she married a wonderful man. She is the mother of two sons and two stepsons, all of whom have shared many years together as a blended family. She is also a breast cancer survivor. Together, they enjoy ballroom dancing and traveling. She recently relocated from Georgia to Texas to begin a new chapter in Dallas.
